RE: Ouch! It is highly unlikey that Egypt would want to nationalize this. There are already a large number of foreign joint venture companies operating in Egypt and these are all vital to their economy. The last thing they can afford to do is start tampering with this and driving away investors.
Also, Egypt may require some IMF support in the near future, and so nationalizations of foreign interests would not fly with the IMF. Indeed, Egypt already has far too many government owned businesses, so I expect the future direction to be one of privatization, not nationalization.
Governments may come and go, but when you are a business in a country, you are there to stay. I am sure that Centimin will be staying in Egypt for quite some time.
