RE: Re Mount Kellett

RE: Re Mount Kellett

Coromandel. You wrote: "I have tremendous respect for Greenslade and his team, including his daughter, however I would like to see some independance, outsiders if you will, on the BoD. I fail to see how this can hurt BAJ. Assuming Greenslade and Co having nothing to hide, then they have nothing to worry about. A fresh set of eyes and ears can only help".

Based on this simplistic argument then no company should be able to conduct it’s affairs independently without allowing any major shareholder to have a position on their Board, whether the candidate is deemed acceptable to the Company or not. Baja has brought us to this point. Mount Kellett is trying only to cash in on the future value, and they are welcome to do so as an investor. They will be rewarded, but are not entitled to a seat on the Board and I fully support the Baja Board and Management Team that has taken us to where we are now. Mount Kellett has to my knowledge not contributed squat to this point, other than buying shares in anticipation of profit, and I can only hope this attempt fails miserably for them.

And… being new here and opinionated in favour of MK at this juncture does make your interests suspect as with other newbies. We will see if you are still on this Board a year from now, or gone with the MK wind.
