RE: Why the halt ? Cause they thought they were on the verge of a deal and it leaked on sunday that the deal was for 70 million and longford hadn't yet said yes to that deal cause they were angling for more since 70 was probably genels first firm offer i assume they said no and wanted to negotiate further and so no announcement by either and they lift the halt since there is no deal to be announced. we have always been trading while negotiations are ongoing only a halt when it looks like a deal is ready to go so now we wait and see what transpires over the next few days not good not bad just means the negotiations continue until we get a deal or everyone walks away quite simple really but in the end i think genel and hayward want this prize to show the market they can get a deal done and then put this field into production pressure is starting to mount as more of the majors start sniffing around kuristan remember hayward formed his company to be the kurdistan consolidator and will look pretty bad if he loses out on his first big opportunity jmho good luck to all lfd longs :)
