Voya Asia Pacific High Dividend Equity Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is total return through a combination of current income, capital gains and capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in a portfolio of dividend yielding equity securities of Asia Pacific companies. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its managed assets in dividend producing equity securities of, or derivatives having economic characteristics similar to the equity securities of Asia Pacific Companies that are listed and traded principally on Asia Pacific exchanges. The Fund will invest in equity securities and will select securities through a bottom-up process that is based upon quantitative analysis. Voya Investments, LLC is an investment adviser of the Fund.

Well I took a larger position in Ithaca today, I like it has no debt and is on the edge of doubling production.  Also analysts seem to like all the fundamentals.  Chart shows good base and the next catalyst is not far off.  I agree it is funny management has not given an update for a bit, they usually seem to keep investors well informed.   It has not rallied with the rest of the sector lately which is odd.  However it is well known by fund managers, I think they see it as a "show me" story, and are waiting for the pumps to turn on.

 

I do see risk if there is another delay, the market can accept one delay, a second and money could leave the stock.
