RE: Hey Gert..... Hi DC...After reading the story and trying to figure out exactly what the allegations were(words seemed a bunch of gibberish), I went to look at a Five year trading Chart for MOA. I will try and copy it here at the bottom, but not sure it will work. If not, try to took a look at one yourself.
Anyway, from this you can quickly see that the timeframe mentioned is right at the bottom of the 2008/2009 financial market collaspe....we are talking $.10 a share here!!! which obviously was completely misguided pricing as can be seen by the way the share price rebounded in the coming months after. I feel that management buying stock at this time would be in the best interests of all shareholders and what all shareholders should expect to help them protect their company from a complete collapse. At that time no one knew how low things would go since by that time all rational thought had been thrown out the door.
I also have now gone to view the insider trading reports at that time and saw that AS in fact bought somewhere close to 100,000 shares in the market....about a $10,000 investment on his part...maybe not all that much, but at least enough to show that management was well away of the mispricing of their assets that had resulted from the general market collapse. Very few shares were actually trading at that time so perhaps a $10,000 investment stuck out when it was coming from an insider however I really cannot understand why such a small amount would be an issue; it just does not make any sense to me when reading the words that AS's or GW's action at that time could be seen in any way as being manipulative. GW had only trades on one day mentioned as being an issue!I! Thinking about all of this connected with the info mentioned above, I expect that in the end it will come out that there was nothing wrong with their actions ...all the best, C.Gert
