So say, theoretically, a tool costs $6000 to build, and takes 1 month to construct. In that case, if the work in progess is $372,000 then it may be reasonable to assume that they are building (372000/6000*3)=186 tools per quarter. Of course I have no idea if that number is anywhere close to accurate, but I think it is reasonable to say there is some business going forward.
Also in that same note 4, they disclose that they wrote off 191,000 of obsolete tools last quarter. I suspect these were all those tools they replaced free of charge last year with their improved design. You might all want to keep this one time charge in mind while you read Miss Holler's recent moan about decliining profitabilty.
