Fire sale - better than no sale

Fire sale - better than no sale

Is a fire sale better than no sale. Some say it was a bear raid to acquire shares cheap that drove the price down previously to the mid 20's.Now that 10% shareholdings was achieved by the corporate raiders, management is bought out handsomely (severance etc) and there is no one left to push for the ''true value'' of the company's shares other than representatives of those very corporate raiders, the new executives and new BOD. Some say the fire sale will be SOON to prevent disclosure of the quarterly results which DG said will be very positive. As such the new owners get a real ''fire sale'' price not a price that has to take those positive results into account. No one will ever find out what those results were, if the company is sold first.
