You make a very good point, but on the other side of the equation why would Apple want a product that within 5 years will be a distant memory and in the Smithsonian. RIM, Could've would've, should've but could not market blood to Vampires, they will soon be "Son of Nortel"

In China they had to have riot police and shut down the Apple store due to the size of the crown and security threates because of the line up and crowd trying to get their hands on the 4GS.

Why would these people line up when they could walk across the street and get a free blackberry with the purchase of a Big Mac Combo ?
