Word from multiple sources says RIO.v might be in play as a TO target. Now would be the time for this kind of talk as Co is ramping up gold production like nobody's business.
I checked the Lima exchange yesterday and RIO was trading a couple million shares. This blog: https://incakolanews.blogspot.com/ has a post suggesting that Goldfields is looking at acquiring RIO. Apparently they looked in September, but there were no further developments reported at that time.
Can't say for sure, but at more than 3 million shares traded today, it is certainly behaving like a company in play.
