You have to go by market cap not by share valuation.

 

They are valuing Nordgold at 4.4B Euros which is equivalent to 5.2B CAD.  Half of 5.2B CAD is 2.6B CAD for a market cap for High River Gold.

2.6B divided by the 800 million outstanding shares of High River Gold is around $3.25/share.
