RE: this makes me nervous...

RE: this makes me nervous...

It is like they are surpressing the price even on good news like today for GPR combined with the silver prices and the China data. It's like GPR has an aversion to staying above the 2.30 mark. Anyone going to the Vancouver mining Conference?  GPR was there last year I am assuming they will again be there this year too. Correction HMMM maybe not Greece just settled a deal with their default loans for March the debitors will get .32 on the dollar, see how the markets take that tomorrow. Interesting that gold miners the big cap ones fell today leaving the TSX negative considering the US indexes were solid up as well as Asian markets very odd for TSX to be down not big but still should have not landed in negative with the solid commoditiy moves and the Canadian currency. It seems they are holding stocks down, as long as Eurozone keeps sitting on their thumbs. Might get rocky by end of Jan since EU are suppose to meet on Jan 30. Still whack load of earnings going on and Canadian Earnings about ready to start too.  Volume is a bit better than the beginning of January, it is slightly starting to pick up on the indexes. GPR volume though has been very slack.JMHO
