Workable solution Floatation circuits do not work well with oxide ores. They blew it with their chemistry. Now they will set aside their highest mineral bearing ore for 8 years, 567,166 tonnes of it, and process the lower mineral bearing sulphide ores at lower recoveries and higher reagent costs. Not great, but they will make good money as they increase recoveries. They also have the option of continuing to try out alternatives on processing the oxide ore sooner. Lower guidance, but profitable and hopeful for continuing improvement.
