RE: RE: RE: RE: Well, yes...Risky Okay Risky, how can I likewise how can I say this delicately you? I inboxed you in in confidence, and expressed my reservations in order not to do it here. I came here with an open agenda. I have been courteous to a fault and left the wrong impression...and I AM a shareholder, as I told you. I have made some posts here with good information in them. I have done and will keep doing DD on this stock and sector. I inboxed you and gave you the benefit of the doubt. I have expressed my serious, positive interest in BTI. Your reply tells me I made a big mistake. Now I know who you are. Yes, a rampant supporter of BTI, but that does not make you a expert in all things..which you seem to think you are. I have no use for 'Beenthere'...the guy is a fly by basket case, posting no substance and is nothing but a a provocative irritant.
Your arrogance with this public and dismissive reply to me deserves address. Who are you that you think you know so dam much with such certainty? Your reply tells me that you have much to learn about what the hell is going on in ALL markets today. To dismiss the FACT that such trading fraud as naked shorting is impossible is uninformed. You appear... or deny to know nothing of the fact that naked shorting is ubiquitous and especially egregious on the TSX.V. ...especially in the JPM sector. To think that it is non existent elsewhere is naive to the extreme. I did not say that this stock was being naked shorted...but just to watch for any such signs. By the way, legal shorts are easily tracked, naked shorts are not. If you want pages of documentation here on the subject, I will be happy to do so just too prove you are uninformed on the subject. Provoke me and I wil respond with information. 'Official' , REPORTED short positions are just that. Naked shorts are not registered and very difficult to follow because they are never 'registered". I will drop this subject now unless you wish to pursue it further...and if so, I will be happy to educate all those here with all the information they could possibly want from reliable and referable, written documentation and sources. To think that there are not people out there who see this stock simply as a way to make $, legally or not, is to be in denial of today's markets. It is something all investors have the obligtion to be watchful of.
As for the trading in BTI, it is being nicely walked up here and seems to be heading up in a steady, controlled manner. Near term news may or may not be on the horizon...that is assumptive on your part. Just because you posted your 'criteria' here, for which I complemented you (my mistake again), it does not mean that your criteria are immune to improvement. To say that day traders are not involved is patently ridiculous.
So, if you want to continue your little discourses on how expert you are on this stock, this technology and how the markets trade according to your assumptions, then carry on. I will be glad to oblige you.
As for BTI, in short, it looks most exciting and could very well be a 10 or 20 bagger from here....based on various levels of speculation, dependent on just how convinced one is with the ''in vitro' studies to date. To yap about a potential buyout proposal from a major Pharma, even in this year, is just far too premature and misleading as far as I am' concerned. Others may disagree and they are more than entitled too.
I have not posted "all" the info from Discover Magazine...which I spent the effort and time on to post here so others could go to the source if desired to read their articles in full. By the way, I have emailed them information on BTI and the BTI website and hopefully it will pique their interest. For some to think that BTI will go to $20 overnight is unrealistic. Quite obviously and quite simply, until clinical trials have been done on humans, your 'criteria'' or not, the 'big bang' will not happen. The stock will rise and rise if several licensing agreements are agreed to with successive Pharmas. This is a stock that one cannot afford to be out of. So let's quit pussyfooting around with banter and such, for which I will take half the blame...but no longer... and call a spade a spade. If you want to continue your aggressive and somewhat belligerent stance, be my guest...but no more 'politeness' from me. I will respect you in kind.
In summation, I like this investment that I own but I am watching the ubiquitous trading games, awaiting scientific news with some anticipation, wondering when another study agreement will be inked... and willing too carry on respectful discussions or otherwise. And, in my own small effort to increase visibility for BTI, I have sent out information to several astute, well respected and well heeled contacts in Canada and the US as a possible new investment opportunity.
