Running Fox Resource Corp. (TSX VENTURE:RUN) (PINKSHEETS:RFXRF)
One of Running Fox's objectives in advancing the Brett Gold Project is to "mine the data", and in this regard the Company is pleased to announce that a University of British Columbia PhD student, Mr. Felipe I. Saldana, P.Eng. P.E. MSc. M.Eng. MBA (cand.) has chosen the Brett Gold Project as a case study for his PhD thesis . The analysis will include an examination of the location being a regional processing centre which would increase a potential life of mine. Running Fox is co-operating with Mr. Saldana and is sharing the digital dataset from the project which will be analyzed by Mr. Saldana along with participation with other graduate level candidates. Specialized block modelling software will be utilized to evaluate the Brett Gold Project and help determine more drill targets, to help define resources and ore blocks, and potentially best extractive methods.
One of the study's key ideas is that economic synergies can be created by sharing data, methods, and potential processing facilities. Mr. Saldana is a professional engineer and is completing his PhD in mining engineering.
