Sheeple?

Sheeple?

Is that it? You have a chance to get organized here, and all I see is some whining, misplaced anger, and shameful wishes of giving someone cancer!

Janet (Silvana), I have to disagree with you again. The stock market is no worse now than it was 10 years ago, 20 years ago, or 50 years ago. The only difference is that things have sped up. The dishonesty that moved at a snails pace 50 years ago, now moves in minutes or seconds. However, we all have moved forward in unison. Theact of getting caught in a scam is NOT the markets fault. It's the fault of playing a risky game you know very little about. I can say that for certainty about at least 50% of posters on StockHouse!

LEARN from this experience, and stop pretending that you know what just happened. I doubt that anyone here knows exactly what just happened other than the information provided in the news release... and some of you didn't even read that right! With all my own experience, I don't know what happened exactly, and therefore it is hard to point a finger at who or what is responsible for this sham. GBK seems front and center for blame since they are the ones 'throwing in the towel', but many of you are blaming JJ. I hope it not because they are Chinese. That would be sad indeed. There are enough corrupt people to spread around evenly in all races, nationalities, social status and creeds. In Canada we all live beside and work together, and I find some of the comments posted here in the past, disturbing and damaging.

GBK was on the winning end of a lawsuit that guaranteed them 25% of billions of dollars... or so it seems. All we can do is speculate OR demand answers. If ever there was a time to call on the securities commission, it's now. Are you all just going to bend over and take it... or are you going to see if you can get justice?

I can imagine lots of scenarios that would fit, none of them honorable. It all comes down to the very question that I've been asking from the beginning. Why would JJ give GBK 25% of billions of dollars for doing $50,000 worth of negotiating? Something stinks and I've been smelling it all along.

1) Is there a verbal agreement that GBK made with JJ that they reneged on? Has JJ got proof?

2) Was there a misunderstanding of terms verbally that translated into an agreement that was different that JJ expected... and they missed it?

3) Is there some other discovery that JJ made recently that they can blackmail GBK with? Is that why the lawsuit was dropped? Maybe they had a hidden recording of verbal discussions?

4) It could be that GBK management is just taking the easy way out with a nice profit, or perhaps JJ is sweetening the deal under the table? Why else would they sell shareholders out if they themselves were guaranteed much more if they hung on? A huge bonus in an offshore account may have been their price.

Look, I could go on and on, but the fact is that you are getting short changed based on the facts at hand... what management presented to you. That should be  enough right there to start an investigation. This is a deal that will dissolve GBK, and if there is a time for you to take it to the the BCSC, it's now. The more of you that complain, the better chance you will get some action.

I'n not going to give any more advice from here on. After all, I'm not "authorized", and a couple of you have made it clear that my opinions are not valued or "authorized"? I hope gou all got out with your shirts intact, and good luck with your future endevours.
