Nothing wrong with seeing what value others might place on your company's assets. Look what happened with Nortel.
What many don't know is that IDCC has over 180 engineers and 40 PhD's and multiple standing members of wireless standards committess worldwide. The company files over 1,000 new patent appications per year! Compare that with WIN or Acacia or any other patent licencing firm.
IDCC has a number of new ground breaking inventions in wireless and video compression that are in their own right worth $100s of millions of dollars in future revenues according to some analysts.
That is why I own the stock along with WIN.
IDCC will come out on top either as a standalone company or in an M&A deal. I am 100% convinced of this. If they buy WIN, I will be very happy for two reasons.
IDCC is in no rush to maximize the value of their IP. It has been noted in the press that at least 8 players are interested in their IP, including Samsung, Apple,Microsoft, Qualcomm and IV.
I like the odds that the sp goes higher from here. Substantially higher.
