Color me Curious More food for thought.
On October 3, 2011 the company advised shareholders of a new zone, the 3550 zone. They provided a pretty good graphic of the level. If you look at the upper left corner of that graphic it shows the 3000 level and the notation it was mined out. How, then, did it take until December 21, 2011 - over 2 1/2 months later - to tell us our richest ore was gone? That is absurd. I'll wager a lot of people bought Fire River stock AFTER October 3rd thinking we still had that 25,000 ounces of gold - at whatever price it sold for. We didn't and Goodwin knew we didn't since he signed the October 3rd report as the CEO and the Qualified Person.
If the Qualified Person was a disinterested third party and not working for Fire River I would sure feel more comfortable.
According to the company, Fire River isn't going to be issuing other than quarterly updates - which are required by law. I don't know if this is only on concentrate and dore shipments or also includes drill results. The last drilling results we were privy to was on November 1, 2011 - almost two months ago. For a company that will drill to replace the gold already removed we should be drilling constantly and getting results on a monthly basis at the least. Remember, the company does not have a NI43-101. They have said they were working on one but that's a far cry from having completed and filed one.
I still own this turkey. If I was looking at the stock I would wait to see what the company reports in - what - late March? This is way too iffy and how can you do due diligence without accurate information. You can't.
For those interested in attacking the messenger [me] have at it. I'm not bothering to read any more posts on this forum - or to respond to them - other than those who have been objective and truly interested in protecting their investment. I would also caution those who are objective to be wary of those who engage in ad hominum attacks. Especially from other boards. They DO have an agenda and evidently don't want to hear any information other than what they want to hear. All of the above is easily verified from the company's site and counter checked on sedar.com Good luck to us all - we'll need it.
