The first trade may be a cross trade but the remaining ones add up to 350k shares and involve a single buyer from Scotia but different sellers in each part of the trade. If that was a "desperate attempt to raise the sp" then Scotia might have arranged a cross trade to him (or her) self. It's possibly a novice investor that got excited when the 0.03 asks cleared before open and comitted perhaps prematurely at .035 because he could have probably picked up his shares at 0.03 as you say but I think it was an honest trade.

It might have also been an order that was filled automatically when the target 0.035 price got hit. If so that's another sign of a novice investor.
