Moscow Times Article on Nord

Moscow Times Article on Nord

I know this article on the Nord public listing is a week or so old but it has an interesting (or funny) statement in it.

Moscow Times Link

'The price brings the company's capitalization to about $2.8 billion, based on the number of Nord Gold's outstanding shares, which amounts to 358.8 million, according to a prospectus released by the company last month.

"This is almost in line with the company's valuation ahead of the split-off, although significantly below Nord Gold's fair valuation," said Nikolai Zelensky, the miner's chief executive. "The outcome of the first trading day indicates a relatively low awareness of our company among investors and we're facing significant work ahead to increase their awareness."'

You think???? Nord has been on the market 4 days and lost 12%. Heres a WILD idea! Why not PROMOTE HRG and when you get it up to $3+/share, maybe then Nord's SP will follow... Of course this would mean telling your shareholders that you indeed own 75% of HRG and not implying you own it all. This would also show that you are honest business people that are interested in increasing shareholder value not just your own pockets.

What i don't understand is that if they did go about this the honest way and really worked hard at promoting HRG, then Nord's price would actually follow. People would see that they are not just good at managing their companies but also are interested in shareholders. Anyone that takes a little time to do their DD on HRG will see how poorly the minority shareholders have been treated. Who wants to invest in Nord when they see how Nord treats its shareholders?...
