Ummm.... Not quite.

The deal that was arranged in December 2010 before drilling on 3K-39 started called for CIVC to pick up it's share of expenses, which would be 19.25% of costs exceeding $4.5M. Look it up. CIVC didn't have the cash and apparently wasn't able to come up with any more so they made a deal that absolved the company of any financial burden while still allowing participation in the play.

Would I have preferrred that CIVC kept the 19.25% ownership? Yes

Do I think there was any way that CIVC could raise the required money? No
