Agreed pvandeloo, especially since his remarks were made after 100+ million ounces was already in the bag.  With 80 drill holes now planned for phase II, we should know soon enough. 

 

Interesting note, compare the La Joya drill program to the early days at Santa Elena.  Then they would drill 20...do financing...drill 30...do financing...etc.  At La Joya, I don't think they would be upping it to a 3 rig, 80 hole drill program if they weren't feeling really confident about the outcome.   Time will tell but there is plenty of reason to have high expectations for  La Joya based on what we already know.
