More on Nat Gas From another board (SD), some good info IMO, take it FWIW:
"COP reducing flow by 100mmcfd, CHK by 500mmcfd – heading to a Billion. Rig count in Haynesville now @ 83 down from 184, the trend is in. Low price NG producers win big on this in the next year or two.
Look at the volume in BOIL. Interesting play for traders.
SWN, UPL and maybe ECA do well in this type of environment. And SD has tons of NG in the Pinon/WTO as well the Miss.
For those that are in doubt, the Haynesville Wells come on line at 10mmcfd or more, the Miss and other fields drilling for Oil less than 1mmcfd. You need 10 to 15 times the number of rigs moving out of the Hayesville into the Liquids Plays to make up. That would equate to 1,000 to 1,500 Rigs.
If EOM makes an announcement NG really takes off. It will be a trend, not necessilarly this week, but the movement is on.
JMHO, do your own DD
