RE: RE: Puzzled

RE: RE: Puzzled

"Pursuant to the Transaction agreement, Dundee REIT will offer to purchase each Whiterock unit for either $16.25 in cash (subject to a maximum cash amount) or 0.4729 Dundee REIT units."

"Either" suggests a choice on the part of the shareholder. If you have heard different - from a credible source - it would be nice to have it posted. I have seen no evidence that the option is up to the companies, nor is that usual practice in these types of deals. They have placed a $ value cap, and it would be nice to know what that is. It will doubtless be in the MGMT circular that went out friday. I doubt anyone has seen that yet.

Personally, I will let some shares roll over to D, in both accounts. I will cash out some shares in the cash account to take positions in other REITs. Dundee has been a solid performer for a long time.

Anyone else?
