To the original question:

This is typical market reaction during a period of acquisition, privatisation of company, etc,.  If you haven't noticed the volume of Whiterock shares since the announcement, it *IS* much greater in volatility compared to even 1 year back.

 

What is surprising for me is Dundee's market reaction and the fact that Whiterock is relatively more stable in price then I expect it.  I expected a +/-3% range of $16.25 plus whatever trend REIT market is going.  Using XRE as index, it's trending down on a 1 month perspective or high in the longer years perspective.  Whiterock, haven't even dip $15.90, 2% even with trending down expectations since 15th of January(use XRE as perspective).
