RE: When does PMT report Q4? my guess? as late as they possibly can... The good news is that it appears PMT has found some stability in share price, it also seems that the jibber jabber about this company's fortunes resting on NG pricing has finally been laid to rest... I will add ONE thing about Gorssmont Oil Sands... and Y'all can do your own DD... I recall a few months back... that Shell (who paid something near $600MM for exploration licenses in these sands back around 2006) wrote those licenses off without much exploration... AND as I recall they (SHELL that is) had signed up a couple of JV's with companies like PBG (THAI process) and a former tech Co (now SNV) turned potential Iraqi heavy oil producer (with some former Royal Dutch Shell employees doing the groundwork). In any case Shell siged up these tech company's to see if the tech's these companies were developing could help "unlock" the Grossmont sands and make them a viable play...
The issue being Grossmont is significantly different than the McMurray play the Grossmont sands are calcium/lime infused as I understand it... and adding high temp steam simply melts the calcium and line before a viable steam chamber can be created... at least that is my understadning... and the reason Shell was trying to use new tech... which may or may not work...BUT until the patents on those techs become public domain (like SAGD eventually did) there isn't much chance grossmont will produce save for the very few small scale operations and "pilots" currently underway...
so what??? So...IF PMT hangers on believe that mgmt is going to add value with their sands leases... they appear to have some headwinds coming from the oil sand direction..
BUT as I stated ... do your DD... don't take my word for it...
as always it's MY opinion git yer own...
