RE: RE: RE: Macken, Merideth & Giardini lightening

Me too - have been back and forth in the proportions between the two over the years.

I guess the answer lies where you think there can be value-added.  If there are additional resources to be found/disclosed on the JV, AND you believe the monetization either by mining or sale (Heruga parcelled off for example) can be accelerated from the schedules batted around in IDP-10 - such as no JV mining for several years - I don't buy it because there is too much high grade ore there for the plucking .... then when you look at the share prices, market caps, value added, there is no question EGI has the higher upside, but it also has the definite risk of being left to hang for some time, or some other shennanigans at the hands of big bad powers that be.

My prejudice is towards the trailer park ... I like the HNE reserves, I like the additional JV exploration potential, the Lordsberg/Anne Mason prospects are interesting, and I especially like the carried area play in Shivee West (the 100% EGI ground to the West).

But man, EGI is cheap because it looks like an ugly duckling and is being pressed nose to the dirt.

Best guess - they both have upside.
