RE:so why the drop in the stock/reprised

CORRECTION:  the stock was up .19 cents today not the amount I noted below.  It was end of month and a fund may have been reshuffling its deck to window dress going forward.  The answer to your question is really that no-one knows why any stock does what it does, these days.  People are not really focusing on the fundamentals but only on the damn headlines.  Either you are in for the long haul or you are not.  Either you like the long-term prospects of the stock, or you don't, in which case, why stick with it, sell, and move to something that will give you what you want.  I wish I had such a crystal ball!  It was originally intended to be an income-producing vehicle and to a lesser extent, it continues to be.  If you forget about the day-to-day gyrations then maybe the drop below that $5.00 will mean nothing to you in the long run.  As I have mentioned before here, real estate, especially lodging/hospitality and service-oriented stocks will likely be the last to regain the confidence of the investing public.  There are many other options for you out there, so perhaps if this stock doesn't do it for you, then maybe you should look for something that will.  The road to investment hell is paved with good investment intentions.  I'll stick with what I know and can rely on.
