Energy Oil & Gas Midstream
Pembina Pipeline Corp is a Canada-based energy transportation and midstream service provider. The Company owns pipelines that transport hydrocarbon liquids and natural gas products produced primarily in Western Canada. It also owns gas gathering and processing facilities and an oil and natural gas liquids infrastructure and logistics business. It operates through three segments: Pipelines, Facilities and Marketing & New Ventures. The Pipelines segment provides customers with pipeline transportation, terminalling, and storage in key market hubs in Canada and the United States for crude oil, condensate, natural gas liquids and natural gas. The Facilities segment includes infrastructure that provides Pembina's customers with natural gas, condensate and natural gas liquid (NGL) services. The Marketing & New Ventures segment undertakes value-added commodity marketing activities including buying and selling products, commodity arbitrage, and optimizing storage opportunities.

I bought a bunch of PVE as it got me PPL for 50 cents/share less than simply buying PPL, and I'm up a buck/share already. Average cost on my PPL will be just shy of $16, paid to get in while everyone else was panicking in '09. Once the deal is done, PPL will be my largest dividend holding, with IPL.un and ALA not far behind. Simply great income stocks.
