Potash Ridge Corporation Announces Appointment of Vice President Project Management
TORONTO, ONTARIO (February 2, 2012) - Potash Ridge Corporation ("Potash Ridge") is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Hampton, P. Eng as Vice President Project Management.
Mr. Hampton is an extractive metallurgical engineer with approximately 30 years of global experience in the engineering, design, operation and management of mineral processing and hydrometallurgical systems and facilities. Mr. Hampton’s primary experience is related to the processing of metals and fertilizers, including 10 years as Manager of Metallurgy with Kilborn Engineering/SNC Lavalin in Vancouver, BC and 5 years as General Manager of Outotec (USA) Inc., in Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Hampton has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Idaho. Mr. Hampton is a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and a Professional Member of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration Inc.

Potash Ridge’s primary objective is to develop its flagship Blawn Mountain alunite project located in southwest Utah. Alunite is a mineral from which sulphate-of-potash (a premium potash), alumina and sulphuric acid can be extracted. A feasibility study, engineering study and mine plan for a large mining and processing operation at Blawn Mountain was prepared in the 1970s following extensive drilling, metallurgical and pilot plant testing.
