RE: canadafan Charity for rich snobs can go for a walk?
Helping the poor and less fortunate?
You need to have a look around. Conservation areas provide nesting grounds for may birds animals and home to many important biological spiecies.
The majority of trail users are environmentalists whom are concerned about the natural areas around them.
Thousands of hours have been donated to plant trees, pick up garbage, trail mantenance. The "poor and less fortunate", Conservation areas are used by anyone who can get to them. Including inner city scout troups who some for the first time ever have seen some amazing natural features and wild life.
When I was very young some of my best times were hiking in the area conservation areas, it was free and endless amounts of exploration.
Im not sure what a rich snob is? I grew up poor and less fortuante. raised by a single mother in the inner city.
In highschool I had one pair of jeans, until I started working part time to buy my own.
I have seen countless young, old, rich and poor, enjoy the natural outdoors. One thing about our environment, it is all we have , that wil be here once we are gone, We need to take good care of it.You many not know this but our environment provide the air that we breath. We need to keep as much of it as possible.
I have personally donated over 3000 hours of my time, toward the preservation of very important conservation lands.
Coorsman, you are twisted, misinformed and not every bright.
Try educating yourself. Find a natural area near you,go for a walk. See how many rich snobs you find.
