Be aware that there are big fish swimming in this pond, and they use trolls like Firesole to spread misinformation. They post very solid-appearing "analysis" on stocks, on more serious boards such as IV, knowing all too well that unknowledgable fools such as Firesole will then parrot that misinformation on other boards such as this.

 

The stock market is a horribly corrupt business, and the internet has just made that whole process so much easier for those who have the edge. You are right to be very cautious of bullboard posters, but be even more cautious about what appears to be reputable information, as it very often is anything but.
