The ENTIRE mining industry is having a serious challenge attracting and retaining technical and operational personnel. Fly-in operations have to be targeted for new personnel once BF can prove steady state operation (c/w sustained cash flow).
Talking to miners at a party recently, there is a lot of "retired" miners bring lured back into mining with significant premiums. Some of the rates being (allegedly) paid by BRD is quite generous; but it's still not enough to "retain" the fickle looking to jump from operation to operation.
