Abacus Mining & Exploration Corporation is a Canada-based mineral exploration and mine development company focused on copper and gold in British Columbia (B.C.) and Nevada. The Company’s main asset is a 20% ownership interest, together with KGHM Polska Miedz S.A. (80%), in the proposed copper-gold Ajax Mine located southwest of Kamloops, B.C., which has undergone a joint provincial and federal environmental assessment process. The Ajax Project comprises eight Crown grants, including the Ajax East and West pits. The Company is also engaged in the process of acquiring a 100% interest in the Willow copper-gold property located near Yerington, Nevada, and it also controls the contiguous Nev-Lorraine claims subject to a ten-year lease agreement. The Willow property is located approximately 65 kilometers southeast of Reno and approximately 13-kilometer due west of Yerington, Nevada, in the Buckskin Mountain Range. Its porphyry copper deposits are Yerington, Ann Mason, Bear and MacArthur.

GoldBuyer At The Ajax, Open House

Picked up a copy of Kamloops Daily paper, as well, dated today Feb. 7th, 2012 but online posted last evening.

I attended at about 2:00 p.m. I then spoke with Jim Whittaker - Project Manager and also James Excell - CEO and President . There was about 40 in attendance when I was there, and apparently there is still an expectation of over 300 plus for this evening .

I noticed Ajax / KGHM had a complete compliment of scientific experts around the room answering all types of questions eg : an ecology and environment expert, answering any & all questions presented, and apparently quite satisfactorily - as I had noted. Note : At a seperate stand / table, that same 12 page publication inserted in the Kamloops Daily paper, was there in quantity for anyone to take with them.

Also, I was able to obtain and leave with a 158 page copy of the KGHM Ajax Mining INC. Draft Application Requirements / Environment Impact Statement Guidelines. It looks like there is at least 12 or 13 pages in the back, with detailed maps of the project. I am pleased, as an investor to have a copy of this Draft Application Manual .

At my time of visit to the Kamloops Ajax / Open House, there were no loud objectors or anything of the sort, in the room. In fact, I'd noted that those persons that were there, were getting their questions answered by a well staffed in house .... Ajax / KGHM team of professionals.

Getting back : Jim Whittaker - Project Manager and James Excell - CEO and President had answered my questions excellently and I did speak with each of them, seperately. So, as per my visit and attendance, I came away with seeing that this was a professional lay - out with many stands stating the facts, and chosen professionals attending to answer any and all the questions. eg : Scientific and / or from any of the levels of mining executive, professionals, that were in attendance.

Ajax / KGHM has, in fact, IMO, put on quite a professional presentation, and I left afterwards, well satisfied as an investor in the Ajax / KGHM - AME project .

Thought I'd share these few thoughts / notations, with anyone interested ?
