Look, the pilots gave up 30% eight years ago and haven't been able to negotiate a contract since then, meanwhile, the CAW and CUPE are above their wages from before CCAA and got their 2%. I'm sure if you would restore the pilot's wages to pre-CCAA they would be quite content with 2% but instead the corp wants concessions from them. The union has been negotiating in good-faith, don't believe the news-bites, it's the company that has refused to bargain because they expect the forced binding arbitration will cost less than actually bargaining to an agreement. BTW, if the investors want to get more than a measley 2% maybe they could get the company to cut a few of the 100 VPs from the management ranks - that would probably put a few dollars back on the books.
