RE: Still looks like.... Sounds like deer hunting on opening day:
Scout your area and try to figure out how many other hunters have either been there, plan to be there, or plan to watch it. Throw out the idea that normal deer behavior applies to opening day. They will be running for their lives.
Figure out when most of the other hunters are going to be moving around, get in ahead of them, then wait for the sun to rise. Once they start moving, the deer will move ahead of them.
If possible, build a line of hunters perpendicular to the anticipated movement of the deer.
NEVER chase the deer. Let them come to you.
Once you're confident you have a clean shot - KABOOM.
