Voya Asia Pacific High Dividend Equity Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is total return through a combination of current income, capital gains and capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in a portfolio of dividend yielding equity securities of Asia Pacific companies. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its managed assets in dividend producing equity securities of, or derivatives having economic characteristics similar to the equity securities of Asia Pacific Companies that are listed and traded principally on Asia Pacific exchanges. The Fund will invest in equity securities and will select securities through a bottom-up process that is based upon quantitative analysis. Voya Investments, LLC is an investment adviser of the Fund.

John Stephenson on BNN staying Ithaca is a hold, not news to any of us, as we watch this low volume everyday...the buyers are in, the sellers are gone....

Interesting he, like other analysts see a likely scenario of multiple bidders, if this is the case you have to think any company making an offer would try to bid a convincing number right off the bat.

This takeover scenario could go many ways and may still take time, but the company still has to live up to its previous committments, namely a sailing date of mid-Feb.....thats tomorrow.....if the date is now irrelevant due to a buy-out then this becomes material and shareholders should be informed.....

if a NR does come it will happen when we are sleeping, all material NRs from Ithaca happen at 7 am GMT, when we in North America are sleeping....makes the alarm clock every morning exciting!
