RE: Ron Schmitz Agrees to reprinting BTM's GCU art

Call me crazy...but...I don't see anywhere here where you asked for financial compensation for your article. Furthermore, you also gave the company permission to circulate your article for free. If you really wanted to be paid for your article, you would have stated that if GCU financially compensated you that they can distribute your write up. Chris, your all over the board man. This pretty much spells out that you never intended on getting paid for your article as you intended on giving the article to GCU to distribute with the intentions of getting free advertisement. In YOUR words

"Anyway, I will probably write you guys up regardless if you pick up my article, but I would appreciate a little bit of recognition and having you guys diseminate my article will only help my further my newsletter. I have brought you a lot of business. Please help the out the new guy on the block."

I also know that your silly little outbursts on this forum isnt meant to discredit GCU but to garner more exposure for your newsletter. The joke of the matter is that you pretty much have killed an opportunity to gain thousands of dollars from would-be subscribers. Talk about being your own worst enemy. Lets take a look at your business on a marketing standpoing using a SWOT analysis:

  • Strengths: characteristics of the business, or project team that give it an advantage over others
  • Weaknesses (or Limitations): are characteristics that place the team at a disadvantage relative to others
  • Opportunities: external chances to improve performance (e.g. make greater profits) in the environment
  • Threats: external elements in the environment that could cause trouble for the business or project

Strengths: A moderate grasp on the fundamentals of various TSX.v traded companies.

Weaknesses. Writing positive reports in a paid for news letter and slandering companies on a public forum reducing the chances of future readership and the cancelation of current subscribers. Giving the impression to readers you are emotionaly unstable and untrustworthy therefore can't be trusted to deliver a paid for product.

Opportunities. Stockhouse, Agoracom investor hubs that can be used as free advertisement venues.

Threats. Legal action for posting slanderous information of companies written up in the news letter on investor hubs. SH readers forwarding public domained slanderous remarks to current paid advertisers in the news letters and possibly to future prospects.

The future of your business looks very...very dim.
