RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Me hey there steadfast...250k-500k measured, indicated & inferred is not necessarily a failure of the block model...that's mixing apples with pears.
the categories in the 43-101 are based on geological confidence given the data available. this is where the strategy to "drill for structure" and the well-known problems with the assay results will impact...reduced geological confidence means less oz in the various categories AT THIS STAGE.
doesn't mean the gold isn't there, just means it can't be categorised at this stage. that's why i've been posting that i think the report will include an "exploration potential" which will fit with the block model and could be much larger.
i'm lucky enough to know a fund manager willing to share his thoughts with me when i asked if i should hold, dump or add. His fund has thought about buying GBB several times, but they're waiting for mgt to show they can lead this project forward without getting suckered into serial financings just to stay afloat.
anyway, they had a geologist consider the GBB results, approach and process. he wouldn't tell me any detail, but he did say two things very simply and very clearly...it's anyone's guess how the oz will be categorised in this first report, so don't get your hopes up...and, work off 25% what you think and then ask yourself if the project still stacks; if you're okay with that or not sure, hold until you are sure.
bottom line is that this mgt team seem to have gone about several things the wrong way and that has been reflected in the shareprice. but until they show they can get a report out and take good strategic decisions, this stock can still lurch from crisis to crisis.
now, if it turns out I'm right about the oz, then i'm pretty sure we'll see price action to match...and if i'm wrong, then there'll be a chance to buy higher on the back of a solid report and solid support. ergo...I do nothing until I read the report.
i want to see a minimum of 250k and then commitment from mgt to upgrade the resource as quickly as possible and get the environmental permits etc. to get some production going. the royalty program would be a bonus but it could just be more fluff and distraction...look at the CSM spinoff debacle...1:85 and now postponed. c'mon GBB...no more drilling for structure, no more assay problems, no more moving drills onto other properties. just focus, focus, focus.
just my opinions, dyor
