We can bring that to a very simple example to make it understood by all ... In a series of results that gives {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}, the mean is 5 and the median is 5.If you lighten the beginning of the series{1,1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}, the median is now above average ...
