Resumption of Trading

Vancouver, B.C. – February 14, 2012 – WellStar Energy Corp. (the “Company”) announces that

further to the news release of January 27, 2012 and trading halt requested by the Company on

January 13, 2012, negotiations with respect to the proposed oil & gas joint ventures continue as

the Company endeavours to find a suitable property to further its development but at this time

the Company has asked that trading resume as there are no concrete proposals to announce.
