Short Positions
Short Positions No, PinnacleX. It's not 4000 short "positions"; it's 4000 shares that are short--a whopping $2720 worth of stock at the moment.
It's not the Short Interest that's the critical value; it is the Short Interest Ratio that is important! That metric is considered to be the minimum number of days it should take for all short positions to cover their short, based on the stocks average 10 day volume (days-to-cover ratio). RN's short ratio is essentially (current calculation is 4000 shares / 329,490 10 day average shares/day = 0.012 days to cover....not even a morning).
Nobody is short RN anymore, and institutions are buying.
