RE: RE: RE: RE: Clarus Putting Their Money Where T

It is hard to say why.  My own calculations show that current NAV is not much higher than the current price.  Maybe any/all of the following:

1. The current frenzy on small E&Ps has everyone jumping aboard  STO.  I note the conspicuous absence of 024 and today.  079 (CIBC) is buying some, but they have been on both the buy/sell side these last few days.  All kinds of new houses in there buying.  To me, these are retail investors who are late to the party.

2. There is conjecture by the market on the middle east causing the price of oil to spike.  You would think we would see similar action in big names such as SU, but we are not.

3.  Their Saskatchewan lands are proving up.  PPY.A just announced that they will be focusing more on Saskatchewan this year.  I believe that they own some Midale/Torquay property.   They will be drilling this up to prove the area.  This can only help Spartan.

4. Some of the the land bought by CPG yesterday butts up near some Spartan's properties.  I am both too lazy and lacking the information to even begin to delve into this one.

5. Another analyst is about to issue his/her guidance on the stock.  We can certainly use another house or two for coverage.  National Bank is in there buying today, so maybe it is them.

6.  Someone is finally realizing the value of the land that Spartan posesses.  Although, it is getting towards NAV now.
