Dear profiteers

Plenty of our recommendations made last year in the black and gave our readers rate doubling or vervielfacher: from prophecy resource and Agrimarine through Bolero and vena resources to Trelawney mining and exploration – just to name few.

Spectacular profits are no accident, but the result of excellent contacts, intensive research and hard work. Sometimes you just the ability to think as mainstream otherwise addition.

The best example is Zecotek Photonics Inc. (WKN: A0M8QZ). In recent years, the company has developed outstanding products such as crystals, photo detectors, laser, imaging and produced for a variety of applications in medicine, biotechnology, industry, nanotechnology and Atomic / molecular physics.

Although the company generates far no significant sales, this has a gigantic value patent portfolio of we believe that after! This seems slow to realize the capital market.

The Zecotek Division Imaging (CIS) has developed a cost-effective technology, establishing a scintillation Crystal called LFS is perfectly suited for the new generation of high performance PET scanners in 2003. The PET scanner that resembles a computed tomography device in its appearance, annular (tubular) detector is positioned around the patient.

Big corporations were hunting for lighter and faster crystals. CIS targeted therefore beginning the main PET OEMs (Siemens, GE and Philips). Siemens decided to acquire of company's CTI to produce (LSO-) crystals themselves, while other companies held in the three biggest producers of old crystals: SICCAS (China), Saint-Gobain (France), Hitachi (Japan). Six years ago Zecotek presented his far superior scintillation crystal of LFS OEMs and manufacturers. Search for licensees but surprisingly unsuccessful. Strange since the LFS Crystal is also successfully used at CERN.

Only later Saint Gaubain brought a new Crystal called LYSO on the market. 18 Months after Siemens sued the French because there was no significant difference between the LSO-and the LYSO crystal. The Court awarded to Siemens a compensation amounting to $ 52.3 million for a patent which ended shortly thereafter (source: www.healthimaging.com).

It is based on this amount has been paid for 12 months patent infringement to reach a potential value of the patent for the LFS scintillation crystal of 836,8 million USD since this 16 years running!

In addition, Zecotek has developed a revolutionary photodetector called MAPD. This could replace (wild, electron multiplier) the PMT which is used for many years in PET scanners and represents almost one-third the cost of a PET machine. The Japanese company Hamamatsu is the undisputed top dog in the PMT. Interestingly, Hamamatsu used an old Russian patent for a Silicon photo multiplier (SiPM) which ended some years ago to place its new MPPC product on the market. MAPD Zecotek is a further development of the SiPM and the only viable solution to replace PMTs because it is vastly superior product MPPC. The final design of MAPD will be finalized in the first quarter of 2011, so it is then ready for production.

Hamamatsu trying desperately to increase the number of pixels per square millimeter with but the so-called photo detection efficiency to modest 15% would lower 4,000. This is not sufficient for high-resolution PET applications. There is no way to the Zecotek product passes so it, because it can represent any required pixel density. Unless Hamamatsu would be so imprudent that hurting patent Zecotek. MAPD will 2011 be produced from the second quarter from a semiconductor manufacturer under license. Three companies have come here on the shortlist.

But the best is yet to come. In October 2010, Toshiba presented a 3D-Fernseher which requires no 3D glasses. More unique features of the 3D-Visualisierungssystems are the constant motion parallax and occlusion effect within the Sehwinkels. The motion parallax is the apparent difference in the direction of movement and speed that arises when a person traveling in their environment. The occlusion effect an object is masked by other opaque object, the hidden object is still visible when it is considered from a different angle, e.g. the page. The combination of motion parallax and occlusion effect disappear balance problems and dizziness, which can occur with 3D glasses.

The Zecotek 3D system is scalable and available as slim 3D-Bildschirm used in the transportation, PCs and the gaming industry as well as large format for industrial applications, advertising, medicine and consumer electronics.

Conclusion: a very exciting year for Zecotek shareholders will be 2011. After a long dry spell management seems to change its strategy and to want to convert its superior technologies in face value.

Taking into account a number of currently 70.7 million fully diluted shares of the market capitalization of Zecotek is just 44.5 million CAD. Alone the potential value of the patent for the LFS scintillation Crystal should be at $ 836,8 million. 11.83 USD or 8.91 EUR per share would be. And this is only an extensive patent portfolio patent!

A spin-off of the imaging department in an independent publicly traded company could provide in conjunction with a strategic partner enormous imagination in the Zecotek share. The sale of the business unit laser should positively affect the share price. Ultimately capital could get a lot Zecotek the long-term success of 3D without realizing further dilution of existing shareholders.

Zecotek has an explosive course potential and could multiply rapidly. The chart looks excellent and suggests further price gains. Therefore, we want to significantly increase our pattern repository location and order:
