RE: Dream on....

He NG53,

Sure there is truth in what you're writing and saying about CMK and Bates in particular.

But saying that no companies is interested whatsoever in Cline, goes beyond my imagination. Look at GCE, not bought by a coal producer, but by a coal reseller and coal consumer. That might be feasible here too.

And why not comparing CMK to the likes of WTN and/or GCE. have you forgotten all the dirt on Byrnes (or whatever his name was) and do you think that Bob Stan did not trade with insider information (just to name one person, who's on the same position as Bates). Do you have any idea how much money GCE has burned just to get to a new coal mine with lesser quality coal (think in the order of $200M), so still thinking that the $1B buyout was a good deal for us?

Have the coal prices dropped, yes, yes and yes again. But they are still way higher than 2 years ago.

Do we have a long way to go, yes, yes and yes again. Will we have surprises, yes, yes and yes again. Will people get hurt along the way yes, yes and yes again.

Doing your DD on GCE, did you care that the specify that their coal is transported of a single track line trhough the Rocky mountains and that they state that that is a serious threat?

So in other words is investing or speculating, whatever tickles your fancy most, in any coal mining company is save. No, no and no again. But where here to make Money (think of Kevin O'Leary saying that). And that will happen.

Stay open for possiblities and don't come over like this is a dead horse, unless your the cowboy on that horse.
