I would assume that this was a strategic setup by the KRG to get LFD out and bring in a major player Genel since they are interested in increasing their blocks. This way the screws were placed on LFD to accept a a low ball offer and place a short timeline for the forfeit of the 40% block and to payup their owings to the KRG, the shareholders have minimal alternatives other than saying yes to the deal. The KRG gets their Big Player Genel, get their money and remove a LFD since they are just treading watrer for the last 3 yrs.
LFD set themselves up for this scenerio by not aggresively looking for other majors back in 2011, by not being honest to their shareholders and by not drilling. They made their own bed and we are in there with them. Unless there is some scenerio with the big shareholders do something after math of the vote. This is a done deal. IT SUCKS!
