Exactly right Chuck,

In coastal British Columbia (where I live too near Powell River) If you don't have natural gas on your street then an electric air source heat pump is the way to go for home heating..  Much much cheaper to operate that heating oil or propane.  Just keep a cord or two of wood handy for those rare sub zero days.
