Top Pick Again Last Night John O'Connell picked ALA again last night, having bought more shares yesterday at $29.00. The $403 million offering at $29 per share has definitely been a drag on the share price of late, but O'Connell says the acquisition is a "real game changer" for ALA, making them a much larger company. He spoke of "really really great management" and said to expect dividend growth of between 5-7% over the next 3 years, then 10% annual dividend growth thereafter. I like the company for the long and short term but it may still require patience as more big money has switched into higher growth, higher risk companies. We may see better upward action if the overall markets correct, as we saw near the end of 2011
