RE: RE: NR analysis

RE: RE: NR analysis

Could this be explained by them moving some of the underground resources into open pit?

Yes of course - the lower grades in the open pit must still contain some higher grade areas so not all of it disappears with a higher cut-off.

However, there doesn't seem to be a way to do a like-for-like comparison. How much gold did they add through drilling and how much through lowering the cut-off? Whilst this info doesn't matter from a total resource perspective, it does matter when considering further drilling and the potential to add more resource. They say they have been adding resource at $11/oz at MB and are planning $15m for 2012 which should add 1.4m ozs.

Beware - if they are fudging the numbers this is a classic sign that shareholders will suffer. The 43-101 is not on SEDAR yet - this is where the real information will be - maybe it is fine.

By the way I am amazed 3P hasn't started posting that MB has 4.3m ozs now (1.4m M&I and 2.9m Inf.)! Someone let him know - I'd hate for him to miss a pump.
