The press release seemed a bit vague, mentions started drilling though, so you may be right. I was reading in the local paper:

I doubt they would be to total depth yet, although it is shallow, lot of hard rock in N.S. Be exciting if they actually get a good well. This Wison is a wise investor and I´m sure he studied the oil companies geological data.....we will see!
