“Eurozone crisis won’t impact on Kyrgyzstan’s economy,” an independent expert and a head of the Watchdog Council under the Ministry of Finance, Azamat Akeleev, said at a press session today.
According him, Kyrgyzstan doesn’t have ties with Eurozone countries in the sphere of financial markets and capital markets. “This is at homespun level here and we don’t get investments from the European Union therefore developments in Greece and EU countries cannot have influence upon us,” said the expert.
He noted that countries, main partners of Kyrgyzstan such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, experience growth that could positively affect Kyrgyzstan’s economy.
